Idea behind our single hop series “NEIPA 17” is to try our best to mediate the concrete aromas and flavors of specific modern American and New World hop varietals. Our belief is that New England IPA is the best vessel for such an endeavor, because it allows extreme hopping without high bitterness and other flavours, that would  prevent you from properly exploring what character the used hop brings to the palate. First time we had heard the name Talus in connection to modern hops was 2020. It is a hop of Neomexicanus family, and like it’s predecesor Sabro, it is derived from wild hops flowers growing in Southern Andes, and that’s where its unique character comes from. Talus quickly rose to prominence even thou it is still relatively rare and you can find it in more and more modern beers lately. It’s mainly thanks to it’s unusual character consisting of not only citrusy and tropical flavours, but also forest berries and oak wood. 500 ml, alc. 7 % vol.
Water, barley malts, oat flakes, hop products.
