The Strahov Brewery can be found just a few steps from Prague Castle, hidden in the pleasant historical grounds of the Strahov Monastery, founded in 1142. Master brewers brewed here beer more than six hundred years ago. Since 2000, beer St. Norbert has been brewed in the monastery. Norbert and open the gates of the brewery, restaurant and gardens daily to beer lovers from all over the world. The beer was named after the founder of the Premonstratensians, who has inhabited the monastery since its foundation. The brewery brews more than 25 craft beers, using the best ingredients and recipes, not forgetting the legacy of local tradition.
