Session IPAs and New England IPAs are our joy and we believe we are getting pretty good at the execution of these low ABV/high hoppiness beers. In Upside Down we took a more rought approach to NEIPAs and used a very expressive hop called Amarillo, that is known for its intense fruitiness full of citrus and clementines and also so-called old-school qualities – resiny, bitter and herbal character. The resultin IPA is light with character referencing older, original versions of New England style, but still retaining high drinkability.
