In the Archiv series, together we discover the flavors of beers that have historically remained completely marginal local matters, or have completely died out and are only now experiencing a revival. Beer has been brewed all over the world and its variety was virtually endless. Until the wave of lager industrialization in the 19th and 20th centuries, local beer styles prevailed, which often contained flavors originating from unique production processes or raw ingredients. The craft beer revolution often brings these styles back to us in different interpretations. We will try to make our interpretations as authentic as possible. However, the taste of these beers is often very difficult to imitate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lichtenhainer is an ancient German beer style named after a small district in the German city Jena. Lichtenhainer is defined by light acidity, moderate smoke and high effervescence and drinkability. Its existence disappeared for 14 years during the 80s and 90s of the last century, certainly undeservedly in our opinion. This German style is reminiscent of Berliner Weiss and reached the height of its popularity in the 19th century.
