A style that combines the malty qualities of a traditional Czech lager with the hopping more typical of modern IPA style beers. The resulting flavour is always a little bit in a category of its own and has proven to be a gateway for orthodox Czech lager fans entering the world of modern styles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Australian hop Enigma was bred in 2003 and came to market a decade later. It was created as a hybrid of Swiss Tetnanger hops and North American hops. It is mainly used for late-hopping due to its strong, elegant aroma, so it is most commonly found in IPAs and Pale Ales. Today, it is the fifth most grown hop in Australia.
