The idea that any of today&#8217;s beer festivals will ever celebrate their bicentennial is very strange, but Oktoberfest proves that it is possible. Historically, several types of beers were on tap at Oktoberfest, but in the 1970s, the Paulaner brewery came with a revolution. He eliminated the dense semi-dark Marzen and replaced it with a pale German lager. The motivation was, of course, profit. People drink more of pale beer, and the rest of the breweries participating in the festival quickly adopted this motivation. In the 1990s, complete homogenization was completed, and today you can only drink Festbier, a pale lager, at Oktoberfest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Our interpretation is based on Pilsner malt with a pinch of Bavarian and Viennese malt.
