The Czech version is mostly bready and caramely, while Brown Ale bets on far more earthy Maillard flavors, cereal and biscuity. In our Spekulka we have used quite a wide selection of malts to create a really deep malt flavor that will stand up well to the added spices which consist of cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, anise and nutmeg.
