But wheat beer takes many forms, and we&#8217;re not just talking about different national styles. For example, even German wheats have branched out a bit in our history. When one says German Weissbier today, one thinks of a yellow hazy crisp flavor with a hint of banana and touch of clove. But wheat beers weren&#8217;t always so bright.
