Heart Quake is another addition to our New Zealand NEIPA series, where we showcase modern hop varieties from New Zealand and their distinctive character. This time, we chose a combination of Superdelic and Rakau. Superdelic brings intense notes of red fruit, citrus and tropical fruit, while Rakau adds a fuller, rounder fruit profile with hints of stone fruit and a subtle citrus edge. The result is a juicy, full-bodied and aromatically expressive NEIPA built on layers of citrus, tropical fruit and soft fruit sweetness. Heart Quake is exactly the kind of beer that highlights a modern hop profile with maximum drinkability.
