Winter Affair Gossip is one of seven beers brewed to celebrate this year’s Winter Affair event. This Italian Pilsner was created in close collaboration with Bibibir, an Italian brewery that has made a name for itself in its home region of Abruzzo. The beer is based on the unique Eraclea Pilsner Malt, a malt made from double-row barley grown in the Eraclea region near Venice, known for its specific climatic conditions. The beer is hopped with Czech Saaz Shine and German Tettnanger, which bring a fresh hop character complemented by a subtle spiciness and balanced floral and herbal aroma. Both hops have been used in both kettle boiling and light dry-hopping, a technique that brings a modern, fresh hop aroma to the Italian Pilsner style. The beer was brewed using the traditional single mash decoction method to offer the ultimate flavour experience.
