Florida, home of tropical sunshine, Atlantic breezes… but also a proper West Coast IPA! With Hidden Springs Ale Works, brewers from Tampa, Florida, we decided to tear down the coastal boundaries and bring a bit of California spirit east. Our West Coast IPA is a celebration and more modern interpretation of the style that defined the American craft beer revolution. Using Cryo versions of Citra, Strata and Idaho 7 hops, we’ve achieved an intense aromatic profile full of citrus, tropical fruit and a light resinousness. Idaho 7 adds citrus, Strata brings in strawberries and papaya, while Citra rounds things out with juicy tropical notes. All this on a perfectly fermented light body that is pleasant to drink despite the higher bitterness. This West Coast IPA is proof that when east meets west, the results are worth it.
