For eleven years now, you have been tasting flavors from all corners of the beer world with us, and this year we will celebrate it together in a very special way. This is the last year that we can be referred to as a microbrewery. We have grown together with you and this year we will exceed the 10 thousand hectoliter mark, which after 11 years will move us into the category of small industrial breweries. Nothing has changed at our brewery except for the volume of beer, and we continue to look forward to sharing tens and hundreds of new beers and experiences with our patrons.
The origin of our coconut beers is clear. We decided that we didn’t want to resort to any extracts or syrups and that we would simply find a way to convey the authentic coconut taste to the beer directly from the raw material. So we bought our big extractor, into which we can stuff up to fifty kilos of freshly roasted coconut flakes and then drag the whole batch over them and thus extract in a continuous flow. We repeat this process with new coconut until the beer feels coconutty enough. Well, we really didn’t skimp on this piece.
