Grisette is a historical beer style originating from the mining regions along the border of France and Belgium. Unlike its close relative saison, which was associated more with farm workers, grisette was primarily consumed by miners as a light, dry and refreshing beer after a hard day’s work. Our modern take keeps this light, rustic foundation but pushes it further with expressive hopping using Nelson Sauvin. This hop brings a distinctive wine-like character reminiscent of white grapes, gooseberry and a subtle citrus touch. The result is a dry, fresh and elegant beer with gentle spiciness and a pronounced aroma. Light body, high drinkability and a character that keeps you coming back for more.
