In Czechia we often use term liquid bread to describe our favorite alcoholic drink. We decided to bring this phrase further by using unsold bread from Prague-based bakery Eska in our new Rye IPA. Full malty body with tones of bread, modern hopping and great drinkability.

Restaurant and bakery Eska from Prague’s Karlín district is unseparatable part of local gastronomic scene. Their breads are a matter of legends and we are delighted to have a chance to use their unselled pieces in our new IPA. Bread we used is called “66” for it§s made with 66% rye. Use of rye in brewing is here for ages, it gives beer a specific character more sharp and peppery than traditional barley malts making it a perfect match for hop bitterness. For that reason, we brewed Tekutý chleba using hops and brewing methods typical for west coast of United States. The resulting beer tastes citrusy, fruity and resiny with higher bitterness that makes the rye trully shine.
