The Trkmanska grapes come from vineyards in Velké Pavlovice region. Wine fermented and then aged for 9 months in Accacia barrels made by local cooper from wood in nearby forests. The wine is of thick yellow colour with light greenish touch, shiny glance and very good viscosity. Well matured, very full and thick aroma with notes of marmelade with and ripe citrus, tones of bread crust and vanilla. Full flavour with fresh acidity, with tones of white grapefruit and soft earthy character. The finish is long and pleasantly harmonic.
Bottled with soft dregs.
“WE ARE CONVINCED THAT WINE IS A LIVING ORGANISM WHICH CAN TELL ITSELF WHEN IT NEEDS A HELPING HAND IN ITS DEVELOPMENT AND WHEN YOU NEED TO GIVE IT A REST AND PLENTY OF TIME SO THAT EACH VARIETY COULD HELPED ITSELF OUT SPONTANEOUSLY IN EACH YEAR AND WITHOUT STRESSFUL AND ACCELERATING INVASIVE INTERVENTIONS.
Everything from our production comes from South Moravia – grapes which matures on our vineyard in Vrbice village, a traditional South Moravian variety of wines or acacia wine cask handcrafted in the neighboring village. From this care every vintage gets its character and the imprint of our home region.
We are not using additives, such as selected yeasts, enzymes and other substances, which, in our opinion, doesn’t belong into really good, traditional wine. When making our wine we follow our sense, hearths and knowledge of our ancestors. Every vintage is new for us and we’re learning more and more every day.
Our wine is not waiting for your compliments, only for your connection, care and patience. Give them this in same amount as us and our wine will reward you with remarkable enjoyment.”
