A collaboration batch we brewed during our visit to Timisoara. We decided to go for a classic Czech amber lager and spiced it up a bit by adding New Zealand-grown Cascade hops, which surprisingly work in conjunction with Saaz in the amber body.

The journey of the Romanian brewery Bereta began in 2014 and tells the traditional story of young beer fans who made it through home brewing to their own flying brewery and then to their own brewery in the suburbs of Timisoara. Their focus is on modern beer creations with an emphasis on massive fresh hopping, a barrel program and a positive mentality where they’re not afraid to say “no” to anything.
