The queen amongst our New England IPAs returns, time to remember this tropical and citrusy embodiment of the most widely used American hop Citra, or maybe try it for your very first time. Beers with such a legend and hype are always a challenge to repeat, no matter how many times we brew it. Let’s find out if we have hit the mark again.

Citra is kind of a meme amongst the american hops, Czech beer people often laugh about it being in every modern beer and how “if your not sure what to do, throw in Citra”. The reason is solid thou – its qualities are undiputable and thanks to its global spread it is very easy to find in a high quality for all European brewers, it certainly not as easy to find many other hops in its freshness this simply. Therefore Citra kind of became both a blessing and Curse, as it always pulls you towards using it, if you want your hoppy beer to encapsule high quality hop flavour. This beer is pretty straighforward, it is a tribute to all we love about Citra and it’s juicy citrusy and tropical character. In it there is an astonishing amount of Citra, a lot of it in its Cryo form, that provides an even stronger aroma than the usual. A generous use of oatmeal and an extensive water modification gave birth to a smooth thick body, that carries all that fruity hoppy flavours we love in Citra.

Water, barley and wheat malts, oat flakes, hop products.
Serve and drink chilled. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Store up to 8 ˚C.
