Same as kids looking forward to the Christmas, both Czech brewers and beergeeks awaits hop harvest with child-like passion. Of course we can’t miss this unique limited window and so, every year in autumn we bring you Czech Pale Lagers brewed with carefully selected Czech hop varietals in their greenest form possible. There is no greater time to test the limits of our native hops.   We chose Saaz Special for one of our “Fresh Hops” this year. This modern Czech varietal is a derivate of traditional Saaz, retaining it’s specific rich aroma of floral and grassy character while being substantially more bitter, a great hop for both early and late hop additions.
