Nelson Sauvin is for many of us the most favourite hop out there. Unlike other hops, its flavour reaches rarely specific tones of grapes, providing a trully unique character when used in beer. When we got our hands on a fresh harvest of this lovely hopo, a single-hop NEIPA was as must.

Idea behind our single hop series “NEIPA 17” is to try our best to mediate the concrete aromas and flavors of specific modern American and New World hop varietals. Our belief is that New England IPA is the best vessel for such an endeavor, because it allows extreme hopping without high bitterness and other flavours, that would  prevent you from properly exploring what character the used hop brings to the palate. The world of New Zealand hops is a world of elegant tastes, New Zealand is an ideal place for growing modern aromatic hops thanks to its climate, that oscilates between hot tropical summers and deep cold winters. Local hop growers and institutes capitalize on this fact and created a ton of interesting new varieties like Nelson Sauvin or Motueka, these hops have and incredibly rich yet smooth aroma full of fruits, citrus and grapes.

Water, barley malts, wheat malts, oatmeal, hop products.
Serve and drink chilled. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Store up to 8 ˚C.
