For October’s Chilli Fest and Asia Food Fest 2023 in Prague, we’ve teamed up with chilli grower and chili sauce maker Palíto to bring you a pretty spicy New England IPA that, in addition to a decent load of aromatic hops, also has a substantial amount of Bhut Jolokia chilli peppers, which are known for being pretty spicy.

The basis for YOLOIPA is a fragrant New England IPA in which we used aromatic Galaxy and Citra hops, which create a very pleasant citrus, pineapple and tropical fruit character. As for the peppers, we tried several types of peppers from our friends from Palíto, but the most fragrant and fruity were the so-called “Ghostpeppers”, i.e. Bhut Jolokia peppers, which are grown in India and were once considered the hottest peppers in the world. Today, their throne has been long taken away, but it is still far enough for our needs. We tried to set the beer so that it was still drinkable, but if you aren’t a spicy fan, beware!
